Vision

GFDD envisions to devise strategies and public policies that strengthen democracy and promote a sustainable development in the Dominican Republic, so that the country may become a governable nation immersed in an accelerated and sustainable modernization process and a fair socioeconomic development, capable of benefitting from the opportunities globalization has to offer and protecting itself from the dangers globalization brings about, with a dynamic and swift foreign policy.

Mission

1. GFDD's mission is to look into vital issues and formulate proposals for the furthering of the socioeconomic development and the strengthening of democracy in the Dominican Republic, based on real experiences and rigorous national and international research, through publications, conferences, seminars, workshops, and others.

2. Another GFDD's goal is to design specific and viable action plans for the implementation of public policies that offer solutions to domestic problems, with a multidisciplinary and integral approach, for the benefit of Dominicans residing in and out of the country.
