Specific Objectives

1) Conduct studies, analysis, and research on democratic good governance, constitutionality, the relation between branches of government, public liberties, and the rule of law..

2) Conduct studies and analysis, and advise on opportunities and challenges as to the development of the country's various economic and social sectors, aiming to increase the level of production, productivity, and competitiveness of the national economy, and improve the quality of life of the Dominican people.

3) Conduct studies and make recommendations regarding the quality of the country's environmental conditions, preservation of natural resources and their rational exploitation..

4) Further science and technology breakthroughs, promote exchange between local and foreign organizations allowing for the training of human resources in the area of high-technology, and develop projects that facilitate the creation of new research and production frameworks, aimed at improving the country's technological level.

5) Conduct public opinion polls and analyze the mass communication phenomenon, with the intent to enhance the level of citizen appreciation as to the quality of information and influence upon it seeking to improve the media's professional level.

6) Identify national interests in the internationalization process of the goods and services production, trade and financial liberalization, migration processes and regional integration. Design policies and train human resources to take appropriate actions when dealing with any such problems.

7) Promote and conduct studies and research on any worldwide geopolitical change, its impact on the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean, including the making of foreign policy recommendations.
